THE SCRIPTS
My most recent script has been for a one-off TV drama. Misunderstood tells the story of Natthew - a man in his thirties who finds himself at constant battle, both with others and himself. Forced to return home for a family funeral after five years away, he must not only mourn the loss of one of his dearest relatives, but face his childhood demons he'd hoped he'd left behind.
The drama, which is endorsed by Rory Bremner, is based on a story by Scott Latty, and will highlight ADHD & ADD within adults.
Scott is himself diagnosed with the conditions, and will be onterviewed soon for a forthcoming article and podcast.
EXPOSE' is series of one-hour comedy/drama episodes that follows a group of third-rate investigative reporters, as they follow stories of the weird and paranormal.
For more information on the development of the show, including the chance to read a sample script of the first episode, please visit the EXPOSE' page.
"Regents Pier - The Rise And Fall Of The Ultimate Englsih Band" was written as a four part docu-drama, similar in vein to The South Bank Show. This followed an investigation in to a now defunct English rock band set in the midst of a recently devolved United Kingdom. The twist towards the end (SPOILERS!) is that the band is later revealed to be clones developed by American and European scientists.
As it was a university project, only the fourth episode was written in full with storyboards, plus a full episode outline.
"The Hungry Just Can't See" was my first real attempt at a screenplay. This was more of a politcal drama set amidst the dpwnfall pf the current government, as seen through the eyes of a young journalist who visits an old friend.
