EXPOSE' is a 7-part comedy/drama series that follows a group of third rate journalists as they investigate stories of paranormal activity around the UK.

 

When we first meet the team they gain a new producer in Charlotte Thorn, brought in by management to try and save the failing show. Immediately at odds with the shows former producer but remaining presenter Egon Kitzmert, the team squabble with trust issues as they struggle to regain their respect within the world of journalism. 

 

As the show progresses, the team find an unstable but workable dynamic, while all the time mysterious forces in the background battle with the shows future and several team members lives. 

 

While each episode further explores the team dynamic while giving the chance to get to know individual team members, we also follow them as they investigate stories that are key staples of the paranormal and science fiction/fantasy world. This world is a naturally scary one, so many of the events in the show are quite visceral and disturbing for both the characters and the audience. The comedy of the show comes from the way the Expose’ team deal with the situation, commenting on events and interacting with each other.
